1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the Vacuole Chrome extension or creating an account on getvacuole.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Vacuole.

These terms apply to all users of Vacuole.

2. Description of Service

Vacuole is a Chrome extension that lets you save products from any shopping website into a personal wishlist. Features include:

Saving product title, price, image, and URL from any page
Organising saved items into collections
Adding notes to saved items
Price reminder emails for saved items
Sharing wishlists with others
Exporting your wishlist as PDF or spreadsheet

3. User Accounts

You must create an account with a valid email address to use Vacuole. You are responsible for:

Keeping your password confidential
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

We do not store your password in plain text. Authentication is handled securely via Supabase.

4. Free Plan

Vacuole is completely free to use. All features — including unlimited saves, collections, wishlist sharing, and export — are included at no cost.

        There are no paid plans or subscriptions. No payment is required to use any feature of Vacuole.
      

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Vacuole to:

Scrape, harvest, or extract data from third-party websites at scale
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy Vacuole's source code
Abuse or overload our infrastructure (e.g. automated mass saves)
Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Impersonate others or create fake accounts
Resell or sublicense access to Vacuole

Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Price Data Disclaimer

Prices displayed in Vacuole are captured at the time you save a product and may become outdated.

        Always verify the current price on the merchant's website before making a purchase. Vacuole is not responsible for any purchase decisions made based on displayed prices.
      

We are Amazon Associates. Amazon product links may include our affiliate tag. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases — this does not affect the price you pay.

7. Intellectual Property

Vacuole — including the Chrome extension, website, branding, and underlying technology — is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of it without written permission.

Content you save (product titles, images, URLs) remains the property of the respective merchants and is stored solely for your personal wishlist use.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Vacuole is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Since Vacuole is provided free of charge, our total liability to you shall not exceed $0 to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of Vacuole after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
